As SVP Corporate Real Estate for EY Americas, Sam was responsible for planning, managing, and directing Corporate Real Estate activities for North and South America. His responsibilities included strategic planning, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, consolidations and redeployment of corporate real estate assets. Responsible for formulating, planning and implementing corporate real estate strategies and project implementation. Responsible for team of 14 and portfolio of 8M SF housing 70K people in North and South America, with a P/L impact of $350M yearly. Accomplishments included completion and adoption of new Americas workplace strategy, inclusive of cost avoidance and reduction of P/L cost in excess of $50M yearly.
ADP
Responsible for all real estate and construction transactions for multiple businesses with revenues in excess of $1B and 10K associates. Managed team of 10 that was responsible for problem analysis, space and architectural planning, negotiation with users, property owners, consultants and contractors. Responsibilities included real estate strategy development and site selection, management and oversight of design and construction professionals and brokers, budget and schedule for all projects, as well as coordination of phased moves of existing divisions and SBU's for 2.5M SF of space. Acquisition, development and construction management as owner's representative for a 400K SF corporate HQ and training facility. Acquisition and development of a 115K sf office and computer complex.
Education
Sam earned his B.A., Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University, an M.A., Architecture & Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA, Finance from Temple University.
