Professional Experience
Mr. Morris has nearly 40 years of commercial real estate experience. Previously, Mr. Morris led the Cushman & Wakefield Client Solutions Group, the umbrella for four global business groups: Consulting, Client Development & Portfolio Management, Strategic Management, and Client Care. Mr. Morris’ global responsibilities included over 600m sf under management, 7,000 employees and $1.2b in revenue throughout.
Prior to joining Greenwood CRE, Mr. Morris led the Occupier Service practice at SVN and served as President of Corporate Services at Grubb & Ellis, where he was responsible for four major service groups within the firm: corporate services, financial services, retail services, and consulting. Morris was also responsible for the firm’s international operations with Knight Frank
Mr. Morris joined Grubb & Ellis in 1982, and during his tenure became one the firm’s top national producers. His accomplishments included co-founding the development and implementation of the original Corporate Services Group and serving as National Managing Director for the Group. In 1993, Mr. Morris served as Executive Vice President and National Managing Director of the Corporate Advisory Group for Koll, where he directed a Corporate Services’ operating group consisting of nine offices and 70 professionals. Morris re-joined Grubb & Ellis in 1996 and was soon promoted to Managing Director of the Western Region. Subsequently, he was promoted to Senior Managing Director, and then President.
Morris’ background includes having played an integral role for more than 300 major corporate, institutional and retail clients. His experience includes corporate asset management, portfolio optimization, strategic planning, consulting, transaction management, benchmarking, build-to-suits, sale-leaseback transactions, mergers and acquisitions, facility management, and the technology required to support a corporation’s global real estate infrastructure. He has consistently provided value-added solutions and recommendations for clients’ portfolios, processes, personnel and strategic planning, including demand forecasting modeling, cost reduction strategies and internal business case analysis.

Mr. Morris is a member of several industry organizations including CoreNet and its predecessors IDRC and NACORE. He is a regular speaker and moderator at industry conferences and events.
